T-Bag Temporary Inlet Protection / Product Specifications
The FloGard® T-Bag is a Temporary Inlet Protection Device for use during the course of construction. It is manufactured from a woven monofilament fabric. It has been designed with rigid bypass outlet louvers to help prevent street flooding during particularly heavy flows.
Lifting straps and cinching cords on the FloGard® T-Bag have been designed to allow ease of removal and disposal of sediments during periodic cleaning. Appropriate lifting techniques and equipment should always be used when lifting heavy objects.
The FloGard® T-Bag is available in sizes to fit the most common catch basin dimensions. Optional items available for extraordinary sites include the use of KriStar’s Fossil Rock oil adsorbent pouches or an curb inlet dam to prevent any stormwater runoff from entering the drainage system during high flows.
Periodic maintenance should be included as part of the site’s regular inspection procedures during construction. Sediment levels should never be allowed to fill beyond the top of the FloGard® T-Bag’s bypass outlet louvers.
